fall colours

In my mind October is Fall which means the leaves change colour, or at least in Canada they do.  Here in Zambia October the weather is anything but Fall-like.  It is stinking HOT right now.  October is the hottest month of the year in Zambia.  Fortunately the rains should start in November and cool things down a bit (I cannot wait!).

Often when I see the red flowers on the trees, my first thought is that the leaves changing colour on the trees look nice, and then I realize that the leaves haven't changed colour at all and my mind is playing tricks on me. 

If you don't look closely, the flowers kind of look like Fall leaves.
