The school year in Zambia is from January to December. They do not have spring, summer or Christmas breaks like we do at home; instead they have the months of April, August and December off.
As we are in the first break of the year, we thought it would be fun to plan different activities for the children to participate in, including making crafts, necklaces, painting frames, baking (always a bit hit), a scavenger hunt, and a progressive dinner.
Most of the kids here are very creative and love being able to try new things and make something with their hands.
It has been a fun month!
