This morning I took Shorty with me to visit one of the local farm communities. I love visiting with the kids and seeing their excitement as they run towards us to greet us with a big hug (or a shy smile when they see a new face). The people are one of the reasons I love Zambia so much; they are so warm and welcoming and I wanted Shorty to experience a little bit of that while he is visiting.
Of course we had to sing a few songs (the ones with actions are the best).
And make a few funny faces for the camera although I think that the kids were far more interested in the new muzungu than they were with the camera.
