It actually does get cold in Africa.
Even though it is just May, the cold season has already started; it is still hot in the day, but it can get surprisingly cold at night. They say that means that we will have a very cold, cold season with June and July being very chilly.
However, being that it is Africa and flip flops are the footwear of choice, you still wear your flip flops just now you wear them with socks. And if you need a scarf, the easiest option is to use a towel:
