October and November are bat season in Ndola. The bats live on the same block as Buseko so every time you visit Buseko you drive by (and under) thousands of bats.
This is what we saw around 9:30 this morning.

ReplyDeleteWould you add these bat photos as a citizen-science observation to the AfriBats project on iNaturalist (http://www.inaturalist.org/projects/afribats)? AfriBats will use your observations to better understand bat distributions and help protect bats in Africa.
ReplyDeleteIf you decide to share your observation, please locate your picture(s) on the map as precisely as possible to maximise the scientific value of your records.
Many thanks!
